No Tellyra account is required
Tellyra does not run an account service for your viewing library. Your sources, favorites, history, and progress stay on your device unless you choose private iCloud sync. The app has no advertising or analytics layer.
- You do not create a Tellyra username or profile.
- Tellyra does not operate a channel or media service.
- Your viewing activity is not used for advertising.
Source secrets stay out of sync
Playlist addresses, usernames, passwords, and access tokens are excluded from Tellyra’s private iCloud sync. This may mean reconnecting a source on another device, but it keeps the information that grants access separate from the viewing state you choose to sync.
- Treat every source address as private.
- Enter credentials only inside the app.
- Never include secrets in an email or support report.
- Change credentials through your provider if you believe they were exposed.
What optional private sync can keep in step
When enabled, private iCloud sync can keep non-secret source information, favorites, history, and playback progress in step across your Apple devices. Sync is optional and uses the private iCloud space connected to your Apple Account.
- Turn sync on only when you want cross-device continuity.
- Allow time for recent favorites or progress to appear on another device.
- Check that each device uses the intended Apple Account.
- Reconnect protected sources on each device when asked.
You remain in control of deletion
Delete a source from its action menu to remove its local information. In Settings → Privacy & Data, you can turn off sync or delete Tellyra’s private iCloud data. There is no Tellyra account to close.
- Remove sources you no longer use.
- Turn off private sync whenever you prefer device-only use.
- Delete private iCloud data from the app’s privacy controls.
- Email [email protected] for privacy questions without including source secrets.
